Hammer to Host First ‘Storage Focus’ Conference and Exhibition for VARS and Integrators

Presentations on technologies and market opportunities by leading analysts and headline sponsors – attendees to enjoy ‘The Silverstone Experience’

Basingstoke, 26 July 2007: In a major ‘first’ for the storage industry, leading independent distributor Hammer is to host the ‘Storage Focus’ Conference and Exhibition at Whittlebury Hall, near Towester, Northamptonshire on 26-27 September 2007.

The conference, with headline sponsors Intel, QLogic, Quantum and Seagate and in association with Computer Reseller News and 8020, is Europe’s only storage event dedicated to the channel and will include additional exhibition and networking components. 

“This unique event is specifically designed for those VARs and integrators looking to increase their storage revenues,” confirms Hammer managing director, James Ward.  “In addition, complimentary places are available for those involved in the strategic development of their company’s storage business.”

During the two-day event, delegates will be able to meet with more than 20 leading storage manufacturers, learn about upcoming technologies and new products, identify new market opportunities, hear from leading industry players and analysts and network with industry peers.  In addition, they will be able to take part in the ‘Silverstone Experience’ at the nearby Grand Prix racetrack, which includes skid control, circuit driving and the ‘Pit Stop Challenge’.
